Day Two.
We drove from Morehead, Ky to Kansas City, Missouri. We had a picnic at the St Louis Arch. Lots of construction and crazy driving. 2 separate times, fighter jets flew over us. I thought a train was coming through the park it was so loud!!! I know where the words "amber waves of grain" come from!!! Missouri is very windy and tons of wheat (and corn) fields. (Rachel got irritated with me saying "amber waves if grain". 🎶🎶🎶)
Russell cooked a great chicken, corn and salad dinner. We even have brats for lunch tomorrow. (Glad everyone will eat cold food!!!) Settling in early... we were up at 545 and we gained an hour. This family is TIRED!!
It feels like the beach outside of our KOA Kabin. Hot, muggy and a humid breeze. No worries! We have a/c!!! Off to Denver tomorrow. Another long day!!!
